What is greylisting?

Greylisting is a type of anti-spam measure that is meant to protect your email from unknown mail senders. The server will first reject the message temporarily. If the message is legitimate, the sending server will then attempt to resend the message after a delay. After a sufficient amount of time, the server will deliver the message.

Enable or disable Greylisting

To enable or disable Greylisting on a domain, perform the following steps:

  1. In cPanel, go to Email > Configure Greylisting
  2. Locate the domain in the list, or enter the domain name in the Search text box.
  3. Click on/off to enable or disable Greylisting.
